I enjoy music, movies, books, and sports; but my passion is writing lyrics. I have also translated some poems of Pablo Neruda. Professor ONV Kurup’s (one of the renowned poets in Kerala) feedback on my songs had given me the inspiration to go miles.
I don’t claim that the Earth will stop revolving, if I don’t write. But, when a dewdrop of memory, an imagination, or the cumulative awareness blooms as a lyric, when someone adds the fragrance of music to it, when someone sings it with the feel, and when it touches someone’s heart, I get some satisfaction.
I was asked to write a sad song for this album. Hope you all will like the song “Varmazha villile“ along with the other lovely songs of this album. I would like to thank Kiran, Bahuvrihi, Nishikanth, and Rajesh Raman—the people behind this great idea. I express my extreme happiness for being part of this album.
